Amsterdam Tavern features 24 beers on tap and plenty more (50+) by the bottle. This wide variety, coupled with a tasty menu of classed-up bar fare favorites, has made this establishment a very popular addition to Amsterdam Avenue. The impressive menu includes a wide variety of dishes including lobster macaroni and cheese, fish 'n chips and burgers along with appetizers, lighter side dishes, sandwiches and breakfast served anytime from open until the kitchen closes at 2 a.m. Happy hour specials are offered every day from 4-7 p.m. and include $3 drafts, $4 glasses of wine, $4 well drinks and $2.50 Bud and Bud Lights. These specials help make Amsterdam Tavern a great spot for meeting up for drinks after work or for spending the evening. Many patrons come for dinner and stay until the wee hours of the morning. Amsterdam Tavern is snazzy from top-to-bottom, with flat screens, fun mirrors, brick walls, wood furniture, an ornate ceiling, dimmed lights and big windows facing out to the street. A jukebox is stocked with mix CDs from patrons (you can bring your own, too!) and Blow Pops and Tootsie Pops replace the standard peanuts as bar snacks.
