Since it opened more than 30 years ago, Chef Peking Restaurant has remained a longtime favorite with the Peninsula dining community. Owners Eddie and Shirley Shyy have been running the restaurant for close to 25 years, and are now turning over the business to the next generation. Of course, they are keeping it in the family. Their son Arthur will continue the tradition this family style restaurant has set for itself with consistent friendly service and tasty food. Chef Peking offers a variety of excellent dishes, culling many tastes for time-honored Chinese foods. While you probably have favorites, there are enough dishes to try something new every time, whether that is the Garlic Prawns, Crab in Black Bean Sauce, or the Crispy Whole Fish in Chili Sauce. For both lunch and dinner, you can enjoy a wealth of Chinese delights. Even better, there is NO MSG and NO TRANS FAT in any of the dishes. There are dozens of choices, including dinner combinations aimed at 2 or more people. A traditional Chinese styled banquet room is available for those special occasions, such as birthdays, graduations, and anniversaries. Chef Peking also provides Catering for any type of event, such as parties, barbecues, and office meetings. Catering orders can be served in large party trays and delivered directly to your event for the ultimate convenience.
